It's All Wright
Welcome to Nail Polish Because Science! Strange as it may sound, many staining methods done in pathology produce very beautiful bacteria. All the polish you'll find in this category were custom ordered or co-created by lab-obsessed polish-lovers. They were all inspired by microscope slides and some of the slides even contained their own cells.
It's All Wright - This is a glitter top coat based on a Wright stain. It's packed with multi-sized matte pink glitters, and both matte lavender & holographic purple in larger round dot shapes. Shown swatched alone with two coats and also over a white base. Some "fishing" or manual placement of larger glitter may be required. This is normal for a polish with glitter's size variation. Always roll bottle gently before use and in between coats to re-disperse larger glitter.
Please note, because each of these polishes contain multi-sized glitters, some settling is normal. Always roll the bottle gently, or for larger sized glitter, you may lay the bottle on it's side for a few minutes before use. For optimal application, allow the first thin coat of glitter polish to dry slightly and roll the bottle again in between coats. We suggest always applying a quick-dry top coat to finish your manicure. You may notice glitter polish feels textured and top coat will smooth it out. This also gives you longer wear time and protects your nails from smudges. Glitter heavy polish is typically made with a thicker base, so it may take a bit longer to dry than a normal formula. You can find 3...2...Oh! Quick Dry Top Coat here. Your nails will be dry to touch in less than 2 minutes but you'll want to be careful for another 5-6 minutes while they completely cure.
Please see the custom polish listing if you have an idea for another beautiful bacteria polish to add to the line-up! If this polish says it's back ordered at check-out, that means we need to mix a new batch. Please allow an extra 5-7 days for your package to arrive. Normal turn around times are 2-3 business days.Joy Lacquer nail color is made from a 5-free suspension base. That means it contains no Toluene, Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin and Camphor. These ingredients are often found in mainstream nail polishes that you would find in the store. Polish is mixed by hand in small batches, so slight batch variation may occur. As in any handmade product, some separation can be normal. Always roll the bottle gently before use. For optimal application, a base coat and quick dry top coat is recommended. Joy Lacquer's full size bottles are max filled at 13 mls. and contain a wide flat brush for a nice, smooth application.
